Marlena Berkow, LMT

A 1996 Florida School of Massage graduate, Marlena's "calling" to the massage therapy profession began years ago in Baltimore, Md., where she grew up among a medical family. Having a father as a physician and a mother as a social worker, Marlena expands her family's tradition of caring for others with passion, love and respect. In her youth, Marlena created art work with her hands sensing then that this talent would eventually result in a career related to some form of healing. She graduated cum laude with a degree in fine arts from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA in 1992.

During her attendance at FSM, Marlena dreamed of creating her own massage therapy practice. Shortly after graduating, she did just that - she opened A Better Massage and has been growing and nurturing the business ever since. Not only has Marlena created success for herself, she as also employed many massage therapists in her practice, helping them to learn the hands on and business skills that create success in massage therapy.
