We focus on cultivating compassionate touch in a nurturing community environment. Focus On Awareness, Communication, and Change With awareness and communication massage therapy training can be a vehicle for personal growth, transformation, clarity, and creativity. We believe massage therapists should create a safe space for clients to let go and emerge happy and functional. Our goal is to provide nurturance and guidance so our students can develop that safe space in their practices. Benefit from the Physical Beauty of the FSM Campus The serene beauty of our campus fosters change. We are located next to the 21,000 acre Payne’s Prairie wildlife preserve. The prairie is a wetland and home to baby gators, otters, night heron, and wood storks. We are located on ten acres in the raised hammock that surrounds the prairie. The hardwood canopy hosts bard owls, red-tailed hawks, peacocks, and armadillos. Walk, Work, and Play in an Inspiring Setting Meditate in our vegetable and herb gardens, on wooded walking paths, or under Spanish Moss draped live oaks. On site are picnic tables and a Chikee- a traditional Seminole hand thatched structure. There is a sweat lodge ribbed with cedar and live oak spine. Our kitchen and counseling center are located in a picturesque “cracker” house in the middle of it all.
