Small House and GroundsThis is the outdoor part of our community at FSM. Here students congregate to eat lunch, and commune with each other and nature. This recreational area is the center of many activities throughout the school curriculum. Students throw parties, have bon fires, hold drum circles, use the community vegetable and medicinal herb garden, enjoy outdoor classes, and meditation. It is a beautiful environment where people can connect with nature and each other to become balanced and whole. Community, awareness and transformation are core ingredients in our curriculum and are found in every aspect of our program. We have created an environment where the magic of growth and change can thrive, and challenge you to greater achievements in your life and career as a massage therapist. The strong sense of community at FSM cultivates lasting bonds, intellectual stimulation, self- introspection and general well being. Fun is an instrumental ingredient in our program and key in the environment we create for our students and staff. Through creative teaching, field trips, extra curricular and recreational activities we provide elements of warmth, caring and openness. The nature of massage, the experience and understanding of touch, bring great insight, compassion, understanding and new depths to the relationships students experience in school and in their personal lives.
